Srilanka, Sept. 27 -- The Health and Mass Media Ministry yesterday officially received seven double cabs for use in preventive health services under the Health Systems Improvement Project, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Each vehicle is valued at Rs. 22 million.
Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa handed over the vehicles at a ceremony held at the Ministry premises. The cabs were allocated to the Medical Officers of Health (MOH) offices in Warallagama and Gangawata Korale (Kandy District), Horowpathana (Anuradhapura District), Mahiyangana and Bandarawela (Badulla District), Nivitigala (Ratnapura District), and the Colombo Project Management Unit.
