Sri Lanka, Nov. 11 -- Sri Lankan leaders have expressed condolences following a blast near New Delhi's iconic Red Fort on Sunday, which killed nine people and is being investigated as a terror attack.
Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath said Sri Lanka stands in solidarity with the people of India.
"Saddened by news of the explosion in Delhi this evening. Sri Lanka stands in solidarity with the people of India. Our thoughts are with all those affected," he tweeted on Monday.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa called for unity against terrorism.
