Sri Lanka, Feb. 1 -- The Riverston Tourist Zone in the Knuckles Forest Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site, has reopened to local and international visitors today (01) following closure due to damages caused by Cyclone Ditwah.

The roads from Rattota and Laggala, which were heavily damaged, have been fully reconstructed within two months. Currently, only light vehicles are permitted, and public transport services have resumed, allowing tourists to explore the reserve safely.

Authorities have urged visitors to drive responsibly, follow local guidelines, and protect the fragile environment.
