Sri Lanka, Dec. 2 -- Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith urged authorities to resettle flood affected people in safe areas which do not go under water.
Cardinal Ranjith came out with this remark during his visit to flood affected people in Uswetikeiyawa in the Colombo District.
"Sri Lanka experiences rains frequently. Therefore, people in the vulnerable areas need safe shelter. They should be resettled in safe areas," the Cardinal said.
