Colombo, Sept. 20 -- Education Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya today assured that the current government has no intention of reducing religious education or aesthetic subjects in schools.
The Minister made this remark during a discussion held at the Education Ministry, following inquiries by members of the Buddha Sasana Task Force regarding the contents of the Buddhism textbook under the new syllabus.
