Sri Lanka, Jan. 8 -- SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa said that South Asia needs stronger regional cooperation, with India playing a key role in addressing shared security challenges and ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.

In a post on social media platform X, Rajapaksa pointed to a series of global and regional security developments, noting that countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka have experienced periods of political instability in recent years.
