Sri Lanka, July 16 -- World-renowned reggae artist Alpha Blondy arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) early this morning (16) ahead of his much-anticipated concert in Colombo.

Alpha Blondy, widely regarded as the most iconic reggae musician after Bob Marley, landed in Sri Lanka on Etihad Airways flight EY-394 from Abu Dhabi at around 2:50 a.m., accompanied by four family members.

He is scheduled to perform at the Colombo Air Force Stadium on Sunday (19) evening.

Officials from the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau warmly welcomed the reggae star and his entourage with much fanfare upon arrival at the airport.
