Sri Lanka, Jan. 30 -- With regard to the recent remarks made by Minister Nalinda Jayatissa that the government should examine the Opposition Leader's mental stability before implementing education reforms, the latter said the issue with regard to the situation is the competence of the Minister.

"I wonder what you mean by 'mentality'. I opposed these reforms because school modules contained glaring errors, including links to porn sites. If that passed your review, the real question is not my mentality, but it's your competence. So please do your homework before judging others," Premadasa told Minister Jayatissa in his X message.
