Sri Lanka, Aug. 26 -- A team of veterinary experts at the Peradeniya University Veterinary Teaching Hospital has successfully removed a rare external growth from a viper found in the Bokkawala area of Kandy.

The reptile, measuring approximately three feet in length and weighing around 450 grams, was brought to the hospital in a weakened condition. Upon examination, veterinarians discovered an abnormal mass located about two to three inches below the reptile's head.
