Sri Lanka, June 11 -- Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) ally Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) met former President Ranil Wickremeisnghe at his Flower Road office yesterday to discuss several political issues.

TPA leader MP Mano Ganesan, Deputy Leaders Palani Thigambaram MP and V. Radhakrishnan MP participated in the discussions with the UNP leader.

TPA sources said the discussions centered on the unfinished formations of LG councils in the Nuwara Eliya district.

The discussion was urgently called by the former President as he is about to leave for Russia today.
