Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- The main railway crossing on the High Level Line at Mile 35, Chain 30, between Puwakpitiya and Avissawella on the Kelani Valley Railway Line will be temporarily closed for repairs from March 5 until March 8 .

Railway authorities announced that the crossing, located near Kiriwandala station in the Puwak Kapitiya-Kiriwandala area, will be subjected to both partial and complete closures during the four-day period to facilitate essential maintenance work.

Accordingly, partial closures will take place on Thursday (March 5) and Friday (March 6) from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
