Sri Lanka, Dec. 5 -- Train services on the Puttalam line will now be extended to Nattandiya following the completion of repair work between Kochchikade and Nattandiya, the Railways Department said.

Earlier, due to flooding caused by severe weather, trains on the line were limited to running between Colombo Fort and Kochchikade Railway Station. With the repairs finished, services will resume their full route from Colombo Fort to Nattandiya.
