Sri Lanka, June 3 -- The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) officially announced the commencement of public consultations on the proposed second electricity tariff revision for the six-month period from today.

The inaugural consultation event is taking place at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) from 9:00 a.m, with stakeholders from various sectors, consumer groups and the public invited to share their views.

As part of this initiative, the PUCSL plans to gather public comments and feedback at the provincial level in the coming weeks, ensuring broad public participation in the decision-making process regarding the electricity tariff structure.
