Srilanka, May 8 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced that the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be relocated to Karachi due to escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.

According to the original schedule, the next phase of the tournament was set to take place at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

However, following a series of Indian drone attacks on Pakistani cities-including Lahore, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi-the venue has been changed as a security precaution.

A drone was reportedly shot down near the Rawalpindi stadium, prompting security concerns.
