Sri Lanka, April 11 -- A protest was held on April 8 in front of the U.S. Embassy as a response to the U.S. government's funding and support for Israel, and the war crimes against Palestinians. The protest also addressed the Sri Lankan government's stance on the issue while drawing attention to the growing presence of Israeli settlers and running illegal businesses in the country. Demonstrators from various backgrounds gathered to demand action, raise awareness, and show solidarity with the people of Palestine.
