Sri Lanka, Jan. 23 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya returned to the island this morning (23) following a successful four-day official visit to Switzerland, where she attended the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos.

The summit, held from January 19 to 22, provided a platform for the Prime Minister to engage in a series of high-level diplomatic meetings with world leaders, heads of international financial institutions, and prominent business leaders. Discussions focused on strengthening Sri Lanka's future economic direction and expanding international cooperation.
