Sri Lanka, Aug. 26 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake today reaffirmed his commitment to enforcing the law equally on all citizens, warning that those found guilty of corruption will face strict punishment.

Speaking at an event in Colombo, the President said, "No individual will be above the law under my government. Why do they react so strongly when we say the law will be equal to all? It is because their conscience tells them they are criminals."
