Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- The Business Committee of Parliament has decided to debate the President's Entitlements Repeal Bill tomorrow, Communications Department of Parliament said.
The decision was taken at the Business Committee meeting held today chaired by the Speaker.
Accordingly, the debate will take place from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm tomorrow.
The Supreme Court has held that the President's Entitlements Repeal Bill, which seeks to abolish certain privileges of former Presidents, is in accordance with the Constitution and can be passed by a simple majority.
