Sri Lanka, Feb. 26 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake held discussions with senior Sri Lanka Navy officers on maritime operations conducted to ensure national security.
The discussion was held at the Presidential Secretariat under the leadership of President Dissanayake where they discussed Sri Lanka's current security situation, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.
During the meeting with senior Navy officers, attention was drawn to future security measures concerning the country's security situation including efforts to curb arms and drug trafficking via sea routes and surveillance missions in deep sea waters.
