Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- Former State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera, who is currently in remand custody, was ordered to be further remanded until September 22 by Mahara No. 01 Chief Magistrate Janitha Perera today.
Ranaweera, along with three others, was accused of preparing forged documents relating to a plot of land in Kiribathgoda town valued at nearly Rs. 200 million, which had been vested with the government.
The suspects were not produced in court today and instead joined proceedings via Skype.
