Sri Lanka, Jan. 6 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the purchase of 350 housing units at the 'Harbour View Residencies' project in Colombo 13 for officers serving in the Sri Lanka Police.

The housing project, located on Cyril C. Perera Mawatha, Colombo 13, comprises 452 units across 14 floors and was developed to provide accommodation for officers in government and semi-government institutions.

Under the approved plan, the Urban Development Authority will also construct sufficient vehicle parking facilities for the units. The initiative aims to ensure efficient and quality service from police officers working in Colombo and surrounding areas in the Western Province.
