Sri Lanka, Sept. 11 -- The Sri Lanka Police has released the updated fees for services provided to the public. Obtaining Police Clearance Reports for overseas travel and related real-time services will cost Rs. 5,000.

Broadcast permit fees will vary based on duration: up to six hours will be Rs. 500, between six and twelve hours Rs. 1,000, and for more than twelve hours Rs. 2,000.

Police reports issued by divisional police stations for Middle Eastern countries will be charged Rs. 500, while reports issued by the Officer-in-Charge for domestic purposes only will cost Rs. 300. Copies of complaints will be available at Rs. 50 per copy.
