Sri Lanka, March 24 -- The Public Health Inspectors' (PHI) Union announced that they will inspect food services around the island starting today in perpetration for the upcoming festive season.

President of the PHI's Union, Upul Rohana advised consumers to exercise extreme caution while purchasing food produced specifically for the New Year festive season.

He highlihted that, for instance, during these days low quality or reused oil may be sold and food products like spices may contain chemicals etc. as noticed based on his experince from past festive seasons.
