Colombo, April 17 -- The Public Health Inspectors' Union (PHIU) has decided to assign at least 50 Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) daily during the upcoming exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Dekma) at the Sri Dalada Maligawa.
The exposition is scheduled to be held for 10 days starting tomorrow (18th).
The PHIs will be deployed to ensure the health, hygiene and convenience of the large number of devotees expected to attend.
The Health Inspectors have requested devotees to minimise the use of polythene and plastic, and to dispose of waste in designated areas.
