Colombo, March 13 -- A man was injured after an elephant taken to parade in a perahera organised by a Kovil in Kotagala, Hatton, attacked him last night.

The elephant attacked the man while he was attempting to feed it after the perahera.

The injured man was admitted to the Kotagala Divisional Hospital.
