SriLanka, Jan. 3 -- People's Bank has partnered with the Transport, Highways and Urban Development Ministry to introduce a digital ticketing solution for the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) buses, in line with the government's drive to adopt innovative digital solutions, with guidance from the Digital Economy Ministry.

The initiative was officially launched at the Makumbura Multimodal Centre in Kottawa, under the patronage of SLTB Chairman Sajeewa Kanakaratne, People's Bank Head of Marketing Nalaka Wijayawardana and Adviser to Digital Economy Ministry Sumudu Rathnayake.
