Sri Lanka, Dec. 9 -- Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent his government's Maritime Affairs Minister Muhammad Junaid Anwar on a two day visit to Sri Lanka to express solidarity in the aftermath of cyclone Ditwah that inflicted heavy damages.
Delivering remarks to the media, Minister Anwar said Pakistan stands with Sri Lanka in this difficult time with full solidarity and sincere sympathy.
"We deeply admire the quick actions taken by the Sri Lankan Government and the courage shown by the affected communities. Pakistan is always ready to provide all possible humanitarian and technical support to our Sri Lankan brothers and sisters," he said.
