Sri Lanka, Dec. 3 -- Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of life and property caused by Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka.
Following a phone call from Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Sharif extended condolences to affected families and commended the swift response of Sri Lankan authorities and rescue teams.
"As a neighbor and brotherly country, Pakistan stands in full solidarity with Sri Lanka," he said.
The Prime Minister added that Pakistan is immediately sending humanitarian assistance and will continue to support Sri Lanka's recovery from the disaster.
