Sri Lanka, Nov. 28 -- The Government and people of Pakistan have expressed their deepest solidarity with Sri Lanka in the wake of the ongoing severe weather crisis caused by cyclonic conditions and unprecedented heavy rainfall affecting large parts of the country.

In a condolence message, Major General (Retd) Faheem-ul-Aziz, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives and conveyed sympathies to the thousands of citizens who have been displaced.
