Sri Lanka, July 30 -- The owner of the Hambantota Bird Park who was arrested over the illegal import of luxury motorcycles into Sri Lanka, has been released on bail.

The order was issued by the Hambantota Magistrate's Court today.

The suspect, who had been evading the police for several days, was taken into custody in Colombo on July 17.
