Colombo, April 2 -- The newly established sperm bank at Castle Street Hospital for Women in Colombo has already assisted six women, offering new hope to those struggling with infertility.

Speaking to Daily Mirror, Hospital Director Dr. Ajith Kumara Danthanarayana said this is a major step forward in helping infertile couples and individuals in Sri Lanka.

"The sperm bank, which opened recently, has already attracted over 50 men who have registered as sperm donors. There are approximately 200 women who can now find hope with this initiative," he stated.
