Sri Lanka, Nov. 18 -- Over 6,700 cybercrime incidents have been reported in Sri Lanka over the past eleven months, the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) said.
SLCERT engineer Charuka Damunupola told the Daily Mirror that the figures highlight growing concerns over online safety, particularly for vulnerable individuals.
He noted that 35 of the reported cases involved children, underscoring the urgent need for stronger measures to protect children online.
