New Delhi, Sept. 4 -- The Department of Examinations said that 51,969 students, representing 17.11% of candidates, have passed the 2025 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.

The cut-off marks were 140 for the Sinhala medium and 134 for the Tamil medium.

The highest score of 198 in the Sinhala medium was reported from Galle, while the Tamil medium's top score of 194 came from Jaffna, the department confirmed.
