Sri Lanka, July 10 -- Sri Lanka recorded 48,300 tourist arrivals during the first eight days of July 2025, according to the latest data issued by the tourism authorities.
So far, 2025 has seen a growth in tourist arrivals. In January, the country welcomed 252,761 tourists, setting a strong tone for the year.
February followed with 240,217 arrivals, maintaining the momentum as the island continued to attract visitors from key international markets.
Furthermore, March brought in 229,298 tourists while April recorded 174,608 arrivals as seasonal travel patterns shifted.
May saw 132,919 visitors and June concluded with 138,241 arrivals - one of the highest month-on-month increases for the year.
