Sri Lanka, April 11 -- The government's flagship "Clean Sri Lanka" programme, spearheaded by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, is set to launch 34 new projects this year, with work on many of them scheduled to begin by the end of April.
In preparation, a one-day workshop was held yesterday (10) at the "Clean Sri Lanka" Secretariat, located in the Lotus Building at Temple Trees. The session, led by Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, focused on providing technical guidance for drafting project proposals in accordance with the formats required by the Department of National Planning for submission and approval.
