Srilanka, May 13 -- At least 25 passengers travelling on a private bus plying between Yatihalagala and Kulugammana in the Aladeniya area sustained injuries, when the bus veered off the road and fell into a roadside precipice around 10.00pm yesterday, the police said.

The injured passengers were rushed to the Peradeniya, Kandy and Thiththapaththara Hospitals, whilst no fatalities have been reported thus far.

Aladeniya Police are conducting inquiries into the accident.
