Sri Lanka, Dec. 15 -- Over 18,000 enterprises have been affected by Cyclone Ditwah, with the Industrial Disaster Support Centre (IDSC) recording 18,321 entries and inquiries as of today (15), the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Ministry said.

According to the Ministry, 6,362 industries in the production sector under the Ministry of Industries have been impacted. The affected enterprises also include 7,510 micro-enterprises, 6,256 small-scale enterprises, 3,998 medium-scale enterprises and 557 large-scale enterprises.

The Ministry has introduced a dedicated hotline, 071 266 6660, to notify affected industries and urged industry owners to submit relevant information to the system without delay.
