Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- Opposition politicians have come together to save themselves as they are being charged for corruption, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka said.
"These politicians are aware that they will have to face the consequences of what they have done while in power. That is why we see them in the Welikada area," Fonseka told a public gathering.
He said former President Mahinda Rajapaksa should be sent to jail for 400 years.
Field Marshal Fonseka recalled that those who ruled the nation in 2010 went on an official trip taking along 65 persons with them.
