Sri Lanka, Nov. 6 -- The opposition has decided to call for public opinion on the budget in order to ensure an effective debate.

Chief Opposition Whip Gayantha Karunatilaka told the media that the public will be asked to send in their ideas via oppositionleaderoffice@gmail.com or WhatsApp 0702067296.

"We will highlight the sentiments of public views during the committee stage of the debate," MP Karunatilaka said.
