Srilanka, May 6 -- The National People's Power (NPP) has won the Ampara Urban Council and Bope Poddala Pradeshiya Sabha with majority.
The NPP secured ten seats in the Ampara Urban Council while Samagi Jana Balawegaya secured three seats.
Independent group secured 2 seats and Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and People's Alliance secured one seat each in the Ampara Urban Council.
Meanwhile, NPP secured eleven seats in the Bope Poddala Pradeshiya Sabha while Samagi Jana Balawegaya secured four seats.
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna secured three seats, United National Party secured two seats and Independent Group secured one seat.
