Srilanka, May 7 -- The National People's Power (NPP) has so far gained over 4,361,127 votes and secured 3,802 members in the 2025 Local Government elections, with the results of fewer than 10 divisions yet to be announced.

Trailing behind, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) garnered 2,190,760 votes (21.76%) and secured 1,711 members, followed by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) with 926,906 votes (9.21%) and 720 members.

The United National Party (UNP) managed 472,864 votes (4.70%) with 367 members, while the People's Alliance (PA) obtained 370,340 votes (3.68%) and 288 members.
