Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- Ministers including Wasantha Samarasinghe increasing their wealth is the eighth wonder of the world, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Kavinda Jayawardene said today.

"One wonders as to how these Ministers have become millionaires as their salaries go to party funds. This is indeed another wonder of the world," the MP said responding to a question raised by journalists at a media briefing.

"Also some Ministers are getting fat as their wealth grows. They are facing health issues as well such as blood sugar and pressure. Their bellies have grown because they may be getting to eat certain food which they have never tasted before," the MP added.
