Sri Lanka, Dec. 22 -- The Northern Railway Line has been fully reopened for train operations, Sri Lanka Railways announced.

According to the Railways Department, the popular Yal Devi train service is scheduled to resume operations along the Northern Railway Line from December 24, operating between Colombo Fort and Kankasanthurai.

Sri Lanka Railways further said that the Yal Devi train will be operated with air-conditioned first-class and second-class compartments, with reserved seating available for passengers.
