Srilanka, Nov. 29 -- The Bribery Commission denied issuing any statements as circulated in social media on how state officials should work during the disaster situation.

The Commission said a statement is being circulated in social media, claiming to have been issued by the Director General of the Bribery Commission.

The Director General said no such statement has been issued and requested the people to avoid circulating such false news to further embarrass the people affected by the disaster situation.
