Sri Lanka, Feb. 19 -- There is no LP gas shortage, but panic buying has created a difficulty brought on by Laugfs Gas delaying its supply, Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe told Parliament today.

The Minister said that the supply of Laugfs Gas had stopped for several days and that people have opted to shift to Litro Gas, which has created a shortage of Litro Gas as well.

Responding to a question raised by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, Minister Samarasinghe said the supply of Litro Gas has been increased by now where the daily supply has increased from 1,200 metric tons to 1,500 metric tons.
