Sri Lanka, Nov. 20 -- The government has not taken any decision to change the uniform of the nursing officers, Health Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said today.
He told Parliament that any decision regarding the uniform of the health sector professions are taken by a committee headed by the Director General of Health Services.
Responding to a question raised by MP M.L.A.M. Hizbullah, the Minister said if any professional in the health sector or any other deem it necessary to change the uniform of a health sector profession, a proposal needs to be made to the said committee and the committee will take a decision after considering the importance and practical situation of changing a uniform.
