Bangladesh, July 31 -- The Sub-Committee appointed to seek solutions to the prevailing salary discrepancies and related issues in the public service is expected to submit proposals for the introduction of a new salary structure for the entire public service.

The proposals are expected to be submitted following a scientific review of the existing positions, related duties and salary scales etc.

A sub-committee was recently appointed under the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, chaired by MP Chandana Sooriyaarachchi, with the objective of seeking solutions to the prevailing salary discrepancies and related issues in the public service.
