Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- The President's Entitlements Repeal Bill was not introduced targeting former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Cabinet Spokesman Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said today.
He told the weekly briefing to announce Cabinet decisions that the Bill was drafted to cover all former Presidents and their spouses.
The Minister said this while responding to a question whether a date has been fixed to remove former President Rajapaksa or whether it would be done after enacting the Bill.
He said the Bill, after being enacted into law, it will be effective on respective former Presidents.
