Srilanka, May 8 -- Independent MP Ramanathan Archchuna was ordered to be removed from Parliament for continuous misbehaviour by presiding member Aravinda Senarath today.

He was removed under Standing Order 71 for failing to listen to the advice from the chair to restrain himself.

The decision was made after Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayke reminded the chair about the provisions provided in the Standing Orders to remove a member for the rest of the season for misbehaviour.
