Sri Lanka, Dec. 24 -- Jaffna District Parliamentarian Ramanathan Archchuna has been released on anticipatory bail by the Colombo Magistrate's Court today.

When a case filed in connection with an incident of obstructing the duty of Fort Police officers was called before the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court recently, the suspect Archchuna did not appear before court.

Accordingly, the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court had issued a warrant for his arrest and production.

Accordingly, Archchuna surrendered to the police and was produced before the court and released on bail.
